This global public webinar will explore the key findings and implications of the newly released UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking-Water (GLAAS) 2025 report (https://glaas.who.int): State of systems for drinking-water, sanitation and hygiene: global update 2025.

Menstrual health is not only a public health issue – it is a matter of dignity, equality, and human rights. Yet across Latin America and Europe, legislation remains uneven, fragmented, and often disconnected from water and sanitation policy frameworks.

The observance will also contribute to the broader intergovernmental water agenda, including preparations toward the 2026 UN Water Conference in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the 2028 UN Water Conference in Dushanbe and ongoing follow-up within the framework of the Dushanbe Water Process.
